Baxter is a pure bred Jack Russell. Sometimes a little crazy, but loves to snuggle and go for walks. He has severe social anxiety when it comes to other dogs. But once you get to know him and most importantly he gets to know you, he is a big softy. When he is not terrorizing Mikey, he loves to sit on your lap and just stare at you. We inherited Baxter a little over a year ago because he needed a more stable and loving environment that could give him the attention he deserves.
Mikey was of the same father as Tina, so Chihuahua and Pug, but with a Boston Terrier mother. He also loved new people and was a bit of a wild child and easily influenced and distracted by all types of food. If you were not careful when you first met him, he would give you a tongue kiss in the mouth. He loved to wonder and find new food any where he could. When we first got him, he was the tiniest little thing and the runt of the litter but full of energy and loved to chase Tina and play with his toys! Unlike Tina, he didn’t really like his belly rubbed. However he loved to play with Baxter and sit on your lap and watch TV with you. There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t miss him. He will forever be in our hearts and prayers. R.I.P.
Tina was what we call a ‘Chug‘, she was Chihuahua and Pug. We found her looking for a Puggle (Pug/Beagle Mix), but couldn’t resist her sweet puppy face! At the time of her passing she was unfortunately about 95% blind but still very spunky til her last days. When she wanted to, she could enforce order in the house and had no problem letting Mikey and Baxter know it! She was the boss! She loved her nightly ritual of belly rubbing by her Daddy and loved new people. When we first got her, she was the cutest little dog you’ve ever seen! Full of energy and loved to play with her toy hedgehog. There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t miss her. She will forever be in our hearts and prayers. R.I.P.
